Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m part of a team at Loughborough University in the UK raising money for Hope for Children, and as you can see, I’ve set myself an ambitious fundraising target for the year!
Hope for Children is a non-profit organisation which enables children in developing countries to experience a happy childhood by improving their access to education (i.e. improving school infrastructure) and healthcare (i.e. providing information to children and communities about the health services that are available), and empowering families to support themselves (i.e. teaching women and parents to manage money & build micro-enterprises to create a sustainable livelihood).
I’m amazed and inspired that such a small but vital charity can help so many children across the world. Because of Hope for Children, in the last 4 years 161,000 children and adults have realised their right to education, healthcare and a stable family environment. I’m determined to help them by raising awareness of their brilliant work and give them the necessary funding they need to continue doing this! As such, I am committing myself to climb to the peak of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa (5,895m / 19,341ft above sea level) in the summer of 2019.
Any donation, big or small, would be appreciated, even by spreading the word of Hope for Children, you can contribute to a massive impact. REG Charity #1161729.
Thank you for your support!
